An introduction to Yoga for children is something they can use for the rest of their lives. This is a safe, noncompetitive
program for children where they can learn the yoga poses and breathing and relaxation techniques. These are tools kids can
utilize to calm them or just have a moment of peace when stressed or scared. The fact that we make it fun for them keeps them interested.
Individual poses are taught - either standing or seated on floor - as well as short routines teaching the flow of vinyasa (multiple poses).
To keep their interest games are incorporated into the practice using specific poses. Stretching and resting ends the class.
What you need: Comfortable-fitting clothing and it is recommended
that you bring water. Mats will be provided if students do not have their
own.
