Alana Martin

“In June 1998, I began working for the Y in the childcare center and Totwatch program. Later, I joined the desk staff team, got certified as a lifeguard and SilverSneakers Instructor. I received a promotion to my current position as Administrative Assistant in August of 2007.

My experiences at the Y over the years have had such a positive impact in my life! Our Y staff and members are like family to me. I will always remember the way they encouraged me along the way. I never would have imagined myself as a lifeguard, or having the confidence in myself to be a fitness instructor! Our Y IS a great place to be!”

Alana teaches SilverSneakers Thursday mornings. She also subs for Boot Camp and Dance Fitness.
